Our Scan to BIM service handles everything from on-site laser scan capture through to a finished as-built Revit model — forming a reliable digital base for your project. (Models will be complete to BIM Forum LOD 200 Standard unless requested otherwise — See Level of Development (LOD) Specification – BIM Forum)

Models will be completed to an as-built level and will include:

• Roof
  
• Doors
  
• Windows
  
• Simple bathroom and kitchen elements

Perfect for architects, engineers, and contractors working on existing buildings — this service eliminates manual re-measurement and provides a dependable digital base for design, coordination, and documentation.

Deliverables include:

• On-site laser scan capture
  
• Registered point cloud
  
• Clean, well-organized Revit model aligned to your point cloud data
  
• Modelled using your templates and families (we can also use ours)
  
• Custom Revit families for key existing conditions components (optional)
  
• File setup ready for design development and documentation

Input formats: We handle scan capture directly, or can work from client-supplied registered point clouds (.RCP / .RCS), E57, or Matterport exports
Output: Registered point cloud + Revit model (.RVT), version of your choice, at LOD 200

Please Note —

• If you wish to upgrade the model to a higher level of detail, you only pay the difference
  
• Sheet set-up and detail drafting sold separately
  
• For projects outside the Lower Mainland and Sea-to-Sky region, site travel will be charged at our hourly rate
  
• BIM.Supply retains the right to determine what constitutes a minor/major scope change
  
• All changes beyond the scope outlined above will be charged at our hourly rate
